Any how, her hair is really starting to grow out. It is getting long and feathering on the sides. When Jack took her to her Dr's appt. last week the guy taking her blood kept calling her a boy. Clearly she was wearing pink, but he just kept telling Jack it must be the hair cut. First of all, the nerve of that guy for saying anything. The more I look at her with no clothes on the more I see where he was coming from. Now, I know my baby is a beautiful little girl, but right now her hair is getting a little out of control. Is it to early to take her? Where do you take her? Will she sit still? These are all the things that stop me. Help, what do you think?
DO NOT EVER CUT YOUR CHILD'S HAIR AGAIN. OMG. That poor girl! Take her somewhere. There will be an awkward phase during her 1st and 3rd years. Just live with it. Stick bows in her hair and try to pull it back, but please, whatever you do, don't cut her hair again.
ReplyDeleteI think we took Caroline for her 1st hair cut after her 1st bday, but she didn't have a ton of hair. If you take her somewhere just have her sit in your lap! They have some fun places you can take them to, esp for their 1st haircut...Kids Cuts, etc.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i dont think there is an appropriate age to take them for the first time...you just take them when they need it! the kids places can shape it up nicely and put a bow or something in it! :) we go to kids cuts and they do nice. zach didnt like to sit in the "kids chair" so he just sat in my lap and it worked just fine!
