MLK DAY = MOMMY AND MAGGIE DAY

I was very lucky to get to have the day off today. I know, I just had a day off a few weeks ago! I was upset at first for the fact that we all just settled back into a routine, but I do love my time with Maggie. We started off the morning by heading to Walmart in our jammies. Why not! We seem to get a lot accomplished early in the morning, so it is easy to get up and go. After our trip to Wally World, we came back and hit the streets for a walk. It was a bit chilly, but Maggie didn't seem to mind. Then, it was time to come home and tackle the biggest project. A few weeks ago my good friend Janet gave me some clothes and shoes. I had just put them away in the guest room and figured I would tackle them later. Christmas came and went, and I added to the mess. So, you can only imagine the mess that was ahead of me. Well, mission accomplished several hours and one short nap later. Yes, my kid only took an hour nap today. I am just so excited that the biggest project is over with. Now, I had several other things on my to-do list, but I guess like everything else, it gets pushed away. I did love the fun Maggie and I had together. You can only imagine the help she gave me as I organized everything today!! I can't wait until President's day! More fun for Mommy and Maggie!!
